CHRYSALIS is the yet unreleased concept album inspired by the image of the butterfly chrysalis as a source of ambivalence. It is the safe, warm space and also the danger that threatens to constrict. It is isolation, but also the opportunity for introspection. It brings fear of the unknown, but also excitement for what is to come. It is a transitional state, a space of transformation.
With this project I share a personal take on ambivalence as a source of growth for society, using music to build resilience and find peace at the intersection of opposing forces.
